WHY DO YOU THINK PALEOINDIAN ARTIFACTS HAVE BEEN FOUND ON HILLS AND RIDGES OVERLOOKING STREAMS?

The Paleo-Indians were the first group of people to ever inhabit today's North America. They built camps at places of strategic value to them, such as up high on hills for defence, or near rivers and streams for a water supply. Therefore, you are more likely to find artefacts there than anywhere else.
