Zero (0) belongs to the whole number set. It can be a natural number if a whole number is required. But, if a counting number is considered, then, 0 is not a natural number.

It does not belong to the integers set because integers are positive and negative counting numbers.

It does not belong to rational set because it can't be written as a ratio nor does ti belong to irrational set because it can't be written in decimal.
