If you also want an example of how it can also affect biodiversity go and search about: Black moth case in UK...It talks about how the distribution of 2 different species of moths (The white peppered and the black moth) have changed in UK as industrialization progressed.

Industrializing place would have offered much pollution and settling, so the conditions wouldnt have been healthy for nature. Therefore, there would be a decrease in life and biodiversity, less trees, plants, and animals living there, etc.
