Martin Luther King Jr. was a Civil Rights activist and a pastor during the Civil Rights era. He was able to help end the segregation of Black Americans who lived in the south. He was know to achieve civil rights through peaceful demonstrations. He has a long résumé of accomplishments. Also when talking about him there were many major events that stand out, a few of them were, he was put in Birmingham prison, his involvement in trying to persuade politicians to pass laws that would help their cause such as voting rights for blacks. He is most noted for a speech he made which was titled "I Have A Dream." Hopefully this helps.
