Cognitive impairment can reduce the person's ability to recognize and understand the information they receive ,and how affected and what is the appropriare action as psw?

I'm not sure what a PSW is? In any case, cognitive impairment is considered to be a very debilitating condition and it affects people profoundly sometimes; especially when we're talking about serious cases of cognitive impairment. In general, being cognitively impaired means that the majority of your cognitive functions can be damaged; like decision making, memory, executive functioning, etc.
