How is an inequality different from an equation? Give a real-world scenario in which you would write an inequality rather than an equation.

in an inequality we describe the real distance. for example 3+4+x>7 or equal to7.
in an equation we describe the distance it self at a given point for example 3x+1=10
x=3.
so an equation is specific, and inequality is not
