both factors work hand in hand to make up the ecosystem. in an environment, abiotic factors i.e rainfall, humidity, sunlight e.t.c are present to make living worthwhile i.e sunlight is used for photosynthesis.

Many biotic factors may find their home and shelter in abiotic factors. Water is an abiotic factor and it is essential to the survival of biotic factors.
