Mixture- each substance stays the same
Compound - has properties different from the elements.

However with a compound a chemical reaction is required to separate them but a mixture is easily to separate.

♥ Mixture refers to any substance which is composed of molecules of different types.
♥ The different elements and compounds in the mixture retain their original physical properties even after combining to form a mixture.
