Possessive of a word that is already possessive

If a word is already a possessive, let's take McDonald's, I would leave it in this form in a possessive:

McDonald's food is so and so.

One can argue that it doesn't make it exactly possessive of possessive, but more a sort of adjective, but it's up to interpretation. In any case, in the rare cases when we need to do a possessive of a possessive, we just leave it in the original (possessive) form.
