Many Americans feared that immigrants who passed through Angel Island would "d. take jobs from Americans workers," since this has been the standard fear of those opposed to immigration for some time.

I believe the answer is: d. take jobs from Americans workers.

Most immigrants that come into united states are far more likely to accept a job with significantly lower pay compared to american workers, even though they had to live with a very low standard of living. This make most corporations to prefer employing the immigrants rather than employing American Workers.
