Asexual reproduction is the type of reproduction in which a cell make a copy of itself. In asexual reproduction there occurs simple cell division.No fertilization of egg and sperm can be seen in asexual reproduction. Thus in asexual reproduction offspring have identical genetic material as that of parent. Similarly in mitosis two identical nuclei are formed which are genetically identical to the nucleus of the parent cell.
