Parentheses around adverb clause in Please get my mail in case i am called away.

The adverb clause in this sentence is: (in case I am called away). An adverb clause is a subordinate/dependent clause, and 'Please get my mail' is an independent clause, so that cannot be the answer. But the other part of this sentence is.
