C) division of labor

As societies grow larger, they divide work among members based on some standardized characteristic such as age or sex. This is referred to as division of labor. Division of labor is work process that divides each person or group of people within tasks. Furthermore, it assigns work according to the individual’s capacity and capability to perform the task. Same as dividing the age and sex. There some tough tasks that only men can perform and others also women can perform and the age range considered.
