What is the impulse of a 3kg object accelerating from rest to 12m/s?

At rest ... momentum = 0.

At 12 m/s ... momentum = 36 kg-m/s.

Change in momentum = 36 kg-m/s.
That's the impulse that caused the change. The acceleration doesn't matter.
