The Shang Dynasty became fully developed because of a lot of factors and one of it is their thriving agriculture. During this time, agriculture was being attended to with much attention. The people from the Shang Dynasty gave their notice to planting cereals which includes wheat, rice, millet, and corn. Livestock were also raised and used in developing their farmlands; people bred a lot of cows, chickens, sheep, horses, pigs, and dogs. Also, tools made of stones and wood were used as a daily instrument to create efficiency in their farms. Because of their developing agriculture, they became open to business and trading.
