here's some of my personal notes: Saratoga: the turning point -summer of 1777 Burgoyne moved troops into NY --planned to meet Howe in albany -Howe's troops were delayed -no reinforcements, so Burgoyne had to surrender -THIS VICTORY CONVINCED FRANCE TO ENTER THE WAR The answer is **Saratoga**
