As such, the modern Prime Minister leads the Cabinet (he also chooses the other members of the Cabinet).Aditionally, the Prime Minister leads a major political party and generally runs a majority in the House of Commons. The Prime Minister is the head of state. while the other royal figures serve only as historical remainings and lack the importance they had in political decision making.
