A citizen of a nation is understood as a legally recognized subject or national of a state or commonwealth, either native or naturalized.

All citizens are entitled to certain rights and holds duties and responsibilities which tend to be outlined in the Constitution. For instance, the right and responsibility as citizen to vote in order to elect their representatives.
