Similar to the Progressives, Wilson supported "(A) establishing a graduated income tax" since this would increase the tax rates on the rich and in theory redistribute some of the wealth to the lower classes.

The correct answer is B) establishing a graduated income tax.

Similar to the Progressives, Wilson supported establishing a graduated income tax.

We are talking about the Revenue Act of 1913, sponsored by Congressman Oscar Underwood and signed into law by President Woodrow Wilson on October 3, 1913. Also known as the Underwood-Simmons Act, this legislation established a graduated income tax and lowered average tariffs. This had been one of the priorities of President Wilson when he became US President in order to help medium class people.
