The perimeter of a rectangle is 34 units its width is 6.5 units write an equation to determine the length of the triangle

Well we know the perimeter of a rectangle is:
width+width+Length+Length=2W+2L=P
We know P=34 and we know the width so now we have
2(6.5)+2L=34
2×6.5=13
Now we have 13+2L=34 for your equation.
