another easy way to convert fractions into decinal is:
36/10 (tenth has 1 digit after decimal point) so 3.6
if it was 36/100 (let see how many 0s? 2 zeros so after decimal we need 2 digits so would be 0.36.
36/1000 same thing, lets look at the zeros and the answer would be 0.036 and so on

Here is a technique that converts ANY fraction into a decimal,
no matter WHAT the fraction is. Oh you're going to thank me for this !

A fraction is always a short way to write a division problem.
EVERY fraction you will ever see means

(the top number) divided by (the bottom number) .

If you'll simply pull out your pencil or your calculator and actually
DO the division, the answer you get will be the decimal form of
the fraction.

36 divided by 10 is 3.6 .
