A chef needs to cook 16 potatoes.He has already cooked 7.If each potato takes 5 minutes to cook,how long will it take him to cook the rest? PLZ HELP!

The chef has to cook 9 more potatoes and if they each take 5 min to cook it would take 45 mins to cook the rest of the potatoes. 9 potatoes x 5 mins = 45 mins
