In ww1 why did italy and japan enter the war?

Well Italy entered the war because the Nazi's were trying to take over and rule over all of Europe and then the World, Japan entered because they were fighting hand to hand with Nazi's in the war and also wanted world domination. Cause if Germany was fighting by its self every country would bombard them and they would be in more dishonor than they already were.
