- 7 - 7
y² + 4y - 3 = 0
y = -(4) ± √((4)² - 4(1)(-3))

y = -4 ± √(16 + 12)

y = -4 ± 2√(7)

y = -2 ± √(7)
y = -2 + √(7) U y = -2 - √(7)
