Is 3 to the 100th power divided by 3 to the 99th power greater than, less than, or equal to 3?

whenever you divide 2 numbers that are the same and they both have exponent, you basically subract the 2 exponents from each other.


`( 3^(100))/( 3^(99)) = 3^(100-99) = 3^(1) =3`


the answer is
`( 3^(100))/( 3^(99))=3`
