Land form regions are separated by similar geographic landscapes. For example, one of the four land form regions in the state of Texas is entirely mountainous area, while another one is all coastal land. Climate regions are separated by similar weather patterns over a long period of time. The Equator region has a very tropical climate, while the Arctic region is very cold.
