Why did Wilson argue for “peace without victory”? Do you agree or disagree with his view? Why or Why not?

The main reason why President Wilson argued for “peace without victory” is because he knew that regardless of who won the war, there would be an extraordinary amount of devastation that would most likely lead to another conflict. He wanted there to be a long-lasting peace instead.
