1 1/2 plus 3/4 equal 9/4, and 9/4 divided by 1/8 equal 18

we know that


1(1)/(2) =(2*1+1)/(2) = (3)/(2)

so


(3)/(2) +(3)/(4) =((2*3+3))/(4) =(9)/(4) \ pound\ of \ clay\ mixture

Divide the total pound of clay mixture by
