Max cut of 2 inches of a board he had to cut, but the board was still to long. he did this 4 times. after the 4th cut the board was the right length. write and find the value of an expression to find the change in the length of the board. :)

where x = the original length of the board
and y = the correct length of the board :)

More information is needed to find the original or end lengths of the board.
