Solving inequality equations is pretty much the same as solving regular equations. What you do to one side, you have to do to both sides. Also, you are trying to get the variable(s) alone on one side of the inequality sign.

So, to solve, first you would add 13 to both sides to solidify the variable, resulting in the equation

10>x, which is your answer.
