The Egyptians learned about making bronze tools and using chariots from the Hyksos. The Hyksos was a group of Semitic-Asiatics nomadic people who immigrated into Egypt’s delta region and settled there. They controlled parts of the Nile Delta and, introduced the horse and chariot, as well as the compound bow and improved battle axes to the Egyptians. Their chief god was the Egyptian god Seth. Seth was a storm and desert god. He was similar to the Asiatic storm god.
