The box office manager said that 5000 people attended the show.
Find the possible actual number of people who attended the show if he convert it to the nearest hundred.
=> 5 000 = 5 thousands, 0 hundreds, 0 tens, 0 ones.
=> x xxx = actual number of people who attended the show
=> x xxx = may be the actual number is 4 990 or more because he rounded the number to it’s nearest hundreds.
=> 4 990 , hundredths place has a value of 9 and the next digit also has a value of 9
thus when you round it, it will become 5000.
