What is the lcm of 2 numbers if one is the multiple of the other

It would all depend on the number and the factors they have.

For example:

A. What is the LCM of 4 and 8? As you can see, 8 is a multiple of 4 since 4×2=8
But 4 is NOT a multiple of 8 so that means 8 is the LCM.

B. What is the LCM of 3 and 6? As you can see, 6 is a multiple of both 3 and 6 but 3 is not a multiple of 6

Answer: So based off on what I showed you, the LCM of two numbers where one is the multiple of the other number is the multiple of the other number. In other words, the bigger of the two numbers
