I believe the answer is: unlawful searches and seizures

.

The fourth amendment require the police departement to obtain a search warrant whenever they want to conduct a search on a private property. The only way this rule can be overlooked is if the police heard a gunshot or a scream coming from the private property

The Fourth Amendment of the United States Constitution protects citizens from "unlawful searches and seizures"--meaning that police or other government personal cannot enter a home without reason or a warrant.
