A. about 9500 BCE

The Neolithic Revolution marks a major shift from a lifestyle of hunting to an agricultural way of living. During this period, men learned how to produced food through growing crops and domesticating animals. Records show that men began to transition to agriculture from 10,000 to 8,000 BCE in the Fertile Crescent.

During the Neolithic Revolution, men also learned to settle in one place and lead a non-nomadic lifestyle. As a result communities and villages were built. This also paved the way for social systems and the beginning of different civilizations.
