Punnett squares are used to show possible combinations of alleles or to predict the probability of a trait occurring in offspring. A rose plant homozygous for red flowers and long stems is crossed with a rose plant heterozygous for red flowers and homozygous for short stems. How many of the offspring will exhibit red, long-stemmed flowers?

All of them will be red and long stemmed if red and long stem are both dominant traits. If not they will all be short stemmed.
