There were 6 girls and 18 boys in Mrs. Johnson’s math

class. Write a ratio of the # of girls to the # of boys in
fraction form. Then write the fraction as a repeating
decimal.

=1/3
=0+1/3
=0=0.3
Remember: Put a notation bar (or line) above the top of the number 3. This means it repeats continuously as a decimal.
=
0.\frac{}{3}
Hope this helps!

Note that even though it's uneven, just think of it as a line on top of 3 in (0.3). :)
