1/2 Q+5/2
divide 1/2 into each term
to divide multiply by the reciprocal
1/2 x2/1= 1
5/2 x 2/1=5

1/2(Q+5) hope this helps

Answer:

(1)/(2)(Q+5)

Explanation:

We are given that an expression

(1)/(2)q+(5)/(2)

We have to find the factor out the coefficient of the variable.

To find the factor out of the coefficient of the variable we will factor each term in the given expression

(1)/(2)q=(1)/(2)* Q

(5)/(2)=5* (1)/(2)

Substitute the values

(1)/(2)* Q+(1)/(2)* 5

Taking common number then we get

(1)/(2)(Q+5)

Hence, the factor of the coefficient of the variable is given by

(1)/(2)(Q+5)
