The answer is C.) a hot dog (5g protein), 2 tsp. peanut butter (7 g protein) and 1/4 cup broccoli (1g protein). That adds up to 13 grams of protein. The child should have 0.36 grams of protein per pound of weigh based on his age, according to dietary recommendations. Multiply 0.36 * 34 = 12.24 that is required for the child.
