The spheres of influenced helped china in several ways and revolutionized its system.

It prevented the Chinese community to be taken over by European powers. Instead of being ruled by European powers, it instilled a sense on nationalism in the Chinese community which allowed them to maintain and operate their own system of government.

Furthermore, their leadership skills combined with their sense of nationalism led to the boxer rebellion, which allowed them to campaign against Dowager empress’s rule and foreign privilege.

The main importance that spheres of influence had for China was that it promoted communism. This was because it seemed to be flourishing the the USSR.
