- 4| -2x 6| = -24

- 4| -12x| = -24

Divide by - 4

- 4| -12x| = -24
/ - 4 / - 4

| - 12x| = 6

= - 12x = 6 OR - 12x = -6
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

-12x = 6

Divde by -12

- 12x = 6
/ -12 / -12

x = -1/2

-12x = - 6

Divide by -12

- 12x = - 6
/ -12 / -12

x = 1/2

Answer ⇒ -1/2 OR 1/2
