The federal power of the country is known as the central government.

--The central government is the main government or highest level government from which all information comes. The local and state governments extend off of the central government.

Ronald Reagan was praised for making the economy strong during the 80s.

--Reagan used "supply-side" or "trickle-down" economics which included tax cuts for the top income brackets and cuts for corporations. The economic conditions got better for the upper-middle and upper class but working classes and the poor did not see conditions get better.
