The formula to find the area of a parallelogram is: A=bh (b standing for your base, and h for height) You substitute 6 and 8 into your formula and your answer is 48cm^{2}

It is Area= base x height
You simple substitute the numbers in 6 and 8
6 x 8 = 48
the answer is 48 cm squared
you must remember the squared sign because you are working out the area of something
