Explain how animals get their needed amount of nitrogen?

I think cuz, without Nitrogen cycle, animals would not get Nitrogen as an input, that is required for the vital processes of protein synthesis and other. Nitrogen is required for the required for the growth of all organisms, hence animals including humans may not survive.
