When finding the square root of any number there is is the + and - root when using this information to solve a problem only the positive root is used you can't solve involving measurements using the - root hope this helps

Answer:

Given: Square root of 25 .i.e.,
√(25)

When we find the
√(25) . we get 2 answers that are +5 , -5

As,
(+5)^2 = 25 . Also
(-5)^2=25

but while selecting value for radius we choose positive value of
√(25) .i.e, +5 because Radius of circle should be a positive value as it is a Length.
