1968 was a turning point for the United States. To what extent is this an accurate assessment? In your answer, discuss TWO of the following: national politics, Vietnam War, civil rights?

we have an essay portion for our ap us history final and we have to write a couple of essays. We've been given the possible essays I'm just trying to get the gist of what i need to write for each one because its open notes.

In general, it is true that 1968 was a turning point for the United States, mostly because people began really distrusting their government in terms of the Vietnam War and in the realm of Civil Rights.
