Internal Fertilization
In humans, fertilization takes place inside the female after mating with a male. The male deposits semen containing sperms in the vagina of the female. From here, the sperms run a long distance to reach the sperm present in oviduct and here one of the sperms fuses with egg and this results in the formation of zygote.
