The political cartoon for me would be: the bow of a great english galleon with few lords on it from an against chopped angle view. In front of it a log raft carring bananas with a few latin american people (of dark skin). On the background you can see an island with palm trees on a very sunny day.

Although it's impossible to draw on this site, the cartoon should have something indication that the people being colonized were often treated unfairly and discriminated against.
