rows of chairs are set out for a wedding. there are 6 chairs in the first row, 14 chairs in the second row, and 22 chairs in the third row. the rows continue in the same patterns for a total of 7 rows. how many chairs are set out for the wedding guests?

From these three rows number, we can find out that the second row is 8 more chairs than first row and third row is also 8 more than second row. Then we can say that the number of chairs(x)=[the row number(n)-1]*8+6=8n-2. The total number S=[6+(8n-2)]*n/2. When n=7, S=210.
