The goal of humanitarian organizations is to help humans with the most basic needs, especially after humanitarian crises. Examples are sending of food, water and tents to places which are facing floods, famine or drought. Additionally those organizations work towards ensuring human dignity.
Humanitarian organizations rather react to the more acute, more severe crises, and not with long term plans to improve developments- this is the task of organizations supporting development.
